Shadespire Fyreslayers

... well, not really.

It is a lot of fun to make a Shadespire crew. The models look like their AOS equivalent if they would look good and the size of the group is quite nice so it doesn't take so much time for the project even if you go a little crazy.
After the Stormcast Eternals, the Stormcast Brutes and the Stormcast Zaelots I proudly present the Stormcast Berzerkers. They are also plant creature thingies. With hammers. They spend so much time on my workbench and I am happy that they got the paint they deserved.

I like the coloured plastic.

Version number one but I was not satisfied with their "necks". They look more stupid than bizarr.

Maybe more arms is what I need...

This is more like it. Add a little blue.

Mossy berzerkers of Sigmar!

Charge!

And don't forget your keys.

Shadespire Inspiration

The first time I saw someone having inspired versions of his Sepulchral Guard I wanted something like this, too. There are several reasons why I choose the Steelheart's Champions for this and I won't talk about any of them. Enjoy the show!

The uninspired Champions as we know and love 'em.

WIP shot. The Ancient Bases from Micro Art Studio work pretty good
for a City in Shyush

Colourfull glory and demonic glee!

THIS! IS! AGARTHA!

Burning with rage!

Look who finally decided to attend the war.

Let's face it, all the cool kids have inspired Versions of their Shadespire Crews.

Da Toof Ferry

Sometimes I do some charity and pic a lonely old miniature home to give it a lovely painting and then find a new home for it. I hope the new owner is happy with this nice little greenskin sage.

Gerrys Believers, Shadespire Group

Hello my fellow explorers of the city of mirrors! Today I pesent to you the Stormcast Zaelots of Gerry Greenbeard. After witnessind the increadible power and the totally exaggerated glory of the Stormcast Eternals, Gerry Greenbeards and his gang of Cut-Throats decided to cange their life. Instead of living on in the filth of the streets, trying to survive by taking from others, they pledged their existence to Sigmar and perform noble deeds in his name. One day, they hope, will they be allowed to join the ranks of the golden celestial brotherhood they admire so furiously.
Viewed from the outside, they are bunch of brutish killers. They are wicked vigilantes who perform guesome acts in the name of what they call justice. Without knowing, they serve the Gods of Chaos in the name of Sigmar.

They are kind of like the Sons of the Batman in Frank Millers Dark Knight Returns. :)

The boys are out to fight trouble.

Gery Greenbeard. Became leader of the warband by defeating
the former chief in a spinach eating contest. There he earned his
nickname. He is quite fearsome of course.
Arnulf, allways playing with his knive.

Karsus with the chain. This way he doesn't lose
his bell all the time.

The Bloody Sack. So angry!

Targor The Intern, the new guy.

Age of Sigmar Bust

For a colour test I made this Bust from Age Of Sigmar plastic. Still don't have the colour scheme I want but I like my little bust.

Shadespire Brutalow

As you can all see, I like them Shadespire Miniatures. Because 3 Minis are way not enough, I finished also the Orcs, but not without some converting. Now they work as a team, a gang, a community. Maybe they are my first Hinterlands gang but I still haven't ask the Hinterlands officials for Hinterlands confirmation.
With me, the Infinite Karl has finished his Boners. I like them, so they will appear on this very page.

Behold the fearsome yet honourable Stormcast Brutes!

A gay little septett, gently swingin' in the breeze.

And shivering bones of my opponent.A very nice paintjob, imho.
Can't wait to crush some skulls!

Shadespire bizarrow!

In order to prepare ourselfs for a nice playtesting of the new Shadespire game, we painted two couragous gangs in their shiny armours. This was of course a spreepaintig action, to keep us busy and concentrated.

Liberate yourself! One could fit in that one videogame. The Leader is
the master of handshakes and one wearing his nifty lady-themed armour.

Fortunately the Professor gave me a hand and painted the Bloodreavers for me.
Bloody bloody Bloodreavers.

The Marching Pox

Hey-yo!
I finally converted my Nurgle Fantasy army to the Kings of War standard. But the I realized that the are way more Plague Flies necessary to bring death from above and throw feces at the enemy to spoil their best war clothing.

The small pictures are on the bottom of course so you don't see
them and after a while they will be rubbed off from the table.

Alternative Nurgle

For my prechious Nurgle collection I also tried out to paint some alternative Nurgle Miniatures. There is not much you can do wrong with plague demons so there are many of them made by other companies than GW and a lot of them are disgustfull beautiful. Some of them were jut lying around in reach and I painted them with Kings of War in my mind.

Did some experimenting with the bases so they do not fit...
with anything. But fuck you, it's Chaos!
The amazing snail from Kromlech. Can be Epidemus. Already was.

A disgusting Beast of Nurgle, also Kromlech Miniatures.

Titan Forge created these wonderfull plague brutes. They serve as
Beasts of Nurgle, Plague Trolls or Plague Molochs for KoW.

More Nurglings. If you like them with more character rather than
a piled mass, choose the one from Kromlech and MaxMini.

There we have some more Plague Bearers. They are Plaguelings, used
as shooter demons for Kings of War. They originate from Reaper Miniatures,
GW, Heresy Miniatures and MaxMini. Don't ask what they use as projectiles...

It's a back view, because... why not?

So much for my Nurgle stuff. Maybe there will be some more in the future. Maybe not. Probably yes. The Sci Fi part is a little too small for my taste. I need tanks and mechanised Plague Flys and demons with gasmasks and chainsaws, because it's what demons of the future have.

Nurgle Plague Toads

Horray, liking toads! For my Nurgle period I couldn't resist to lay my salad fingers on these majestic abominations!

DEAR FATHER OF ROT!
They are fantastic and a good example that you
can use more Chaos animals than flies for
Nurgle themed miniatures. Try: Fish, crow, horse, dog
monkey, rat. Parrot?

Back view because they have nice backs.

I like Plague Toads so much that I portaied one.
Acrylics on canvas, 13x18 cm.

Nurgle Demon Reinforcements

You know, I just wanted to paint a Start Collecting Box of Nurgle Deamons and then the whole project shall be called finished. But this I-don't-care-I-paint-fast-painting style fills me with glee so I cept going and added some more. Looking foreward to play Kings of War with my new Abyssal Horde of Unspeakable Stenches and Stickyness.

Bloab Rotspawned. It has no vomit spray because I don't like
the permanent shoot effect and it also looked a little lame.
It has no poles on the seat because there are flies on the scythe,
flies on the head, but not on the poles. So no flies, no poles.

This little fella lay in my box of stuff for too long.
Made it a Beast of Nurgle and set it free to play.

I do not want to have spare bits. So what does not come on the
models goes to the trashcan or emerges to a mythical Efreet of
brown delights. Behold the Herald of Infinite Diarhea!

Snotlings Nurgle Plague Host

Age of Ass!

Sind schon okay. Sind zum spielen. Is' für Warhammer, Age of Sigmar, Warhammer 40k, Warhammer 30k, Kings of War und The 9th Age. Wirklich vielseitig.
