WIP Plastic Chaos Mayhem

During a session of selective clean-up I dug out my plastic Chaos Space Marines that I bought as a child. They were half assembles and even thought I didn't planned to paint them I thought, why not assemble them? But them I started recycling a lot of bits I was horting for years now and it took me some nights to assemble all my plastic soldiers. Now I have some real chaotic Space Pirate Raiders, just in case of need.
Paint them maybe.

They are all unpainted

The dwarven Juggernaut, Practitioner of the Dark Arts, The First Mate
and the Scrap Warlord

Necro Nightmare, The Cyborg, The Crazy Dick, Sarge

The Zombie Soldier, The Doom Soldier, The Mutant Captain
The Skull Lover

The Ships Dog, The Herald, The Monkey.

This is the prototype of a Weapon from the future I just invented.
It is small, made of plastic and totally useless for warfare.
Names will probably vary in future publications.

Scavvies, Scavvies and more Scavvies

After so much time finally the last Scavvy of mine is painted. This doesn't mean I won't get more in the future, but still it feels like I have finished something. Going to try an awesome groupshot now. See how they look in total. This gonna be like a child putting all his toys out of the box to put them on display, before it stores them in the toybox again.

Yeah, me second mutant boss. He is accompanied with his
best friends, along with the Fly Bros.
Does anyone know the Crossed?

I even painted their backsides!

15mm Madness!

I continued the mighty tinyness of 15mm figures. There are still some nice Demonworld minis I got myself but the surroundings brought me more small ones.

A mystical Fairy Dragon from the woods and a man-like caller of the deep.

Mr. Buttocks here is from RAFM and the sprite is GW.

Shadespire Brutalow

As you can all see, I like them Shadespire Miniatures. Because 3 Minis are way not enough, I finished also the Orcs, but not without some converting. Now they work as a team, a gang, a community. Maybe they are my first Hinterlands gang but I still haven't ask the Hinterlands officials for Hinterlands confirmation.
With me, the Infinite Karl has finished his Boners. I like them, so they will appear on this very page.

Behold the fearsome yet honourable Stormcast Brutes!

A gay little septett, gently swingin' in the breeze.

And shivering bones of my opponent.A very nice paintjob, imho.
Can't wait to crush some skulls!

Shadespire bizarrow!

In order to prepare ourselfs for a nice playtesting of the new Shadespire game, we painted two couragous gangs in their shiny armours. This was of course a spreepaintig action, to keep us busy and concentrated.

Liberate yourself! One could fit in that one videogame. The Leader is
the master of handshakes and one wearing his nifty lady-themed armour.

Fortunately the Professor gave me a hand and painted the Bloodreavers for me.
Bloody bloody Bloodreavers.

The Marching Pox

Hey-yo!
I finally converted my Nurgle Fantasy army to the Kings of War standard. But the I realized that the are way more Plague Flies necessary to bring death from above and throw feces at the enemy to spoil their best war clothing.

The small pictures are on the bottom of course so you don't see
them and after a while they will be rubbed off from the table.

Hard on Grass

All the time I was painting my Rumbleslam contestants, I was dreeming about my very own custom ring. A green, minimalistic lawn were friends can assemble to have a good beating. The most important with this dream was, that it has to be realized fast or it is not worth the touble. Good thing come to those who rush things I allways say.

I started with a template to help me with the pattern. This took the most
time, but it was relaxing. I hope this tool might help other people to build
rings as well. Or it will be used for gardening later.

Checking the look for future processing.

As you see, there are squares on the green now. Turnbuckles
waiting for their call.

Some glue, some ropes, some more paint and we are ready to play. Applause!

More Toasty Treats!

The Toast Factorys never seize the work. Childrens hands prepare the toast for the master's gluttony will never fade away. In this nightmarish facility contains sinister beetle overseers, keeping an eye on the little slave that labour day and night. If the supplies of delicious bakery products not reach their minimum, te wrath of the mast will hit the overseers the same way it does to the unfortunate slaves.
This sculpture was made to celebrate the awesome work of my favourite animator David Firth. For many years I watched his disturbing funny films and get never tired of quoting them whenever I see it fit. I do that a lot. This character originate from Firth's backwards triology Spoilsbury Toast Boy. Even though it makes me sad I must say that this is a genious work in animation, music, voice acting and all the other intellectual mucus.
Check out Fat Pie as well.
The sculptue was a gift as well. For the fellow Great White. Made from Sculpey, without the base around 15cm high.

Mr. Shroomus

This is Mr. Shrooooomus. Born between mouldry toes he was sended out to bring friendship and glee to a world that is rotten to the core.
A gift for a very good friend. Made of polymer clay and baked with love. The hight is around 1,5 cm.

Four A Sea Hag

Hello Ladys.

Because of deep sea themed collective painting session I finally painted the Sea Hag from Four A Miniatures. It was a gift a while ago and it was really itching to put some paint on it. I also took the chance to make some colour experiments for a abyssal enviroment. The Mini is well sculpted and has a lot of character, totally loveable. If you look for something special in your marine collection, this (and of course the other Sea Demons of Four A Miniatures) is the right thing for you.

I'm Old Greg!

Mutant Punk Sculpy Sculpy

Another gift for a very good friend of mine. For this I tried out Super Sculpey Living Doll, wich is a rosy skin coloured polymer clay. When sculpting body parts, you can use the colour of the clay as the basecoat for your miniature and paint it by only using some washes. I should make more of this stuff for it was extremly pleasurable to paint. And I will do so because my friend requested now more body parts so we can assemble a whole person...mutant...thingy. Well, Christmas is not that far away anymore...

I could have made the head more symetric if I wanted to. But I didn't. It is perfect as it is and was never intented to look any other way.

Urban War!

Another trip back in time. A couple of years ago me and The Great White painted an Urban War Starter to check out the game. It's a little dated but still a nice old school sci-fi skirmisher. I chooses Syntha because I like the sexually overloaded cyborgs. Unfortunatly I never painted more than the starter kit. It was fun but I just.. painted something else afterwards.

I guess it was also the first time I used Micro Art Studio bases.

Cool figures, really. But there are just sooo many cool figures...

Welcome to Spinespur

A long time ago there was a very interessting independent miniature game called Spinespur made by Comfy Chair Games. The one book published provided you an awesome grim and dark background story for a unique game. Unfortunatly there was never more released, not even all the miniatures from the first book. It lacked the attention it deserved.
I painted these miniatures some years ago (porbably 2010 or so) and I still like them. So I made some new fotos so I can mention them again. Maybe some day it will be resurrected. And sometimes I just like to plan how I would make new forces for Spinespur, for it has such a cool background.

These are my minis of the Slaughterhouse agenda. Evil butchers
and carnivorous pigs, love 'em for they are so Death Metal!
In the middle you see Senator Pigskin.

The pigs, called Gormandizer have just one miniature and back when I
painted them I was pretty proud that I converted them to look different.
A group shot of various characters. I late realized that this is
a bad picture so I made singles as well.

This is the Handyman. Isolated from civilization he became more
a feral animal than a man. He collects hands, it is his thing.

A regular Molly Thug.

Another Molly Thug. Gave him a MaxMini gasmask. Gasmasks and suits
are cool as you know from that awesome Grenadir scavenger I never painted.

Mr. Jingles, the Senator of the streets. Every horror game needs
a creepy killer clown. And this guy creepy as shit.

I miss you, Spinespur. I know that Comfy Chair planned to make the next miniatures as 3D sculpts, which would be a shame. The pulp style of the old stuff is much cooler. More books with more background would be much apprechiated by yours truly.
